Seven years after its original release, Stardew Valley continues to inspire players who regularly share their creations on social media. Others imagined what they could do if Stardew Valley allowed them to create their own version of Pelican Town, as they dreamed of being able to build an entire school for Penny that children from neighboring towns could attend. They noted how Saerraa paid attention to details while creating the room, like placing a snail for Vincent, Plum Pudding for Jas, and a Mango and Woodsy chair for Leo on their respective student desks. In the comments to this Reddit post, Stardew Valley players appreciated Saerraa’s idea of creating a classroom for Penny. The room is filled with flowers and bookshelves, highlighting Penny’s passion for books and nature. This classroom features Penny’s desk facing three tables for her students, each with a different chair and object to study. Penny often teaches the local children of Stardew Valley, so Saerraa decided to create a dedicated room for her classes. Stardew Valley received raving reviews and became a commercial success, selling over 20 million copies by May 2022. Stardew Valley takes place in the peaceful village of Pelican Town, where players can date or even marry one of 12 townsfolk among the 30 residents they can meet and befriend. This game, developed by a single developer known as ConcernedApe, gives players an old farm plot they need to restore to live off the land, growing crops, raising animals, crafting gear, and exploring dangerous caves, among other activities. Stardew Valley took the simulation gaming world by storm when it came out in 2016, offering players a refreshing pixelated RPG. This design may inspire other Stardew Valley enjoyers to create dedicated rooms for their favorite villagers and keep them busy while they don’t look after their crops. The silo is integral for the sole purpose of being able to harvest wild grass and store it as hay, but its other features become less useful the further into the game the player progresses.A creative Stardew Valley player shared their latest in-game creation, depicting a classroom for Penny to teach her students. That said, while the silo unlocks the ability to store hay in each of the player's barns and coops, that feature becomes less useful once the automatic feeding system is unlocked with the deluxe barn and coop upgrades. There is nothing that feels better than mowing down an entire field of grass and getting a hefty stack of hay, especially since the item is so crucial to feeding farm animals and keeping them happy. Once a silo is built, players will be able to cut down grass with a scythe in order to automatically obtain and store hay in all their barns and coops. The silo unlocks one of the most satisfying features in Stardew Valley. But, if players are getting the majority of their income from places like crops and artisan goods, it may be best to save the resources that would've gone into building a slime hutch. For what it's worth, this isn't a bad method to have a passive source of income from the otherwise useless materials that slimes drop. The player has the chance to find slime eggs as a rare drop from killing a slime, but they can also farm the slimes in their hutch and use an item called the slime press to create slime eggs. Slime eggs sell for a pretty penny, with the rarest egg (the tiger slime) selling for 8k. Unfortunately, the slimes that hatch in the hutch will still be hostile unless the player is wearing the slime charmer ring. This building can be used to raise up to twenty slimes, including being able to hatch slime eggs and breed the gooey creatures together to gather and sell valuable resources. The slime hutch was a relatively new addition to Stardew Valley, and one that had many players scratching their heads looking for a use in-game.
